“ This place is pure gold. They have the Sesame Buffalo wings I’ve dreamed about since The Bull Moose Saloon in Manhattan closed. These are better. The Mozzarella Triangles were filled with gooey cheese and the baconless vodka sauce was delicious. The pretzel was also great and came with three sauces. I enjoyed the house Blonde Ale (in tribute to Blondie, who I was seeing that night at the nearby Paramount Theater), as well as a Narragansett Lager suggested by the server. The service, by the way, was superior. I’d drive two hours just to visit The Rust and Gold again. If you are headed to a show at the Paramount, make sure you stop here first. ”

They have a great beer selection and the food is fantastic, all in an unpretentious, fun atmosphere that feels a bit like a garage full of old sports memorabilia. “ I’m so sorry to ruin the perfect number of reviews (it was at 420 by the time of publication) but I cannot resist the urge to rave about this place. Finally tried it after ages of following on Instagram and drooling over photos and videos of the food. It’s rare that a place has both great food / service and is also a “vibe,” as the kids say, but this place does both! Great drink selections — both beers and cocktails — and an unbelievably extensive food menu. And better yet, the food is incredible. We tried the Bronx Chicken Parm and the Long Island Steak Sando — two Long Island staples, and they live up to the high standard! Excellent Brussels sprouts too. Reasonably priced (I paid more money for less food and drink — both in quantity and quality — at a mediocre new wine bar in Long Island City just days before), friendly service, great vibe. A wonderful addition to a wonderful town. And conveniently located next to an urgent care and across the street from a post office, should the need arise! ”

The industrial-type decor gives off a more urban vibe while the food screams comfort all through their menu. The staff is friendly and attentive. The chef prepares each item so it tastes delicious and amazingly seasoned at decent pricing. The place has good seating, multiple TVs, and a big bar that draws a crowd. ”
“ Celebrated a birthday there the other night and had a great experience! Our waitress was awesome, the food was off the hook! Security was on point and courteous. Saw so many different groups of people enjoying themselves there. At the end of the night, a couple came in with all their friends for their wedding after party. Would def recommend this spot. ”

Even their ranch and blue cheese sauces were amazing. Also, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The ambiance, decoration and music were all wonderful. The place was very airy with super high ceiling. I would definitely go back for their wings soon. ”
